Important Due Dates

Due Friday (tomorrow): pg. 13 & 14 in the Rome packet. Use the textbook to fill in the boxes. This assignment will not be accepted late.

Due Tuesday (12/21): Test corrections for Greece tests. Test were given back today, Thursday.

Due Next Thursday: Rome photo journal--Rome test will be given this day. If you know that you will be absent this day (the day before the holiday break) let us know ASAP so we can arrange a time for you to take the test!

Due Tuesday 11/30- page 7 & 8 of the first Greece packet (the one you got before thanksgiving break) use textbook pages 113-116. - If you do not have the worksheet answer # 2-5 on page 116.

Due Wednesday 12/1- The entire DBQ packet- scaffolding questions, introduction, box out chart, conclusion.

Due Thursday 12/2- Debate preparation - page 12 of the new packet. This will be explained on Wednesday.

Important Due Dates

  • Tests were given back today. Test corrections are due tomorrow. *Follow the instructions to earn points back on the test. Remember that test corrections MUST be on a separate piece of paper. (For every question you got wrong: rewrite the question with the right answer and an explanation for the right answer.)

  • Make sure that you have written the essay in Google Docs (unless you were given special permission due to lack of laptops) and that you have SHARED the document with us (hahnlanoce@gmail.com).

Essay Due Date

Today in the computer lab, students should have completed the rough draft of their summer essay assignment. If not, students should be working on this assignment from home.

Tomorrow, students will share with one classmate and complete a peer-editing assignment.

At the end of class tomorrow, students should have completed their peer-editing and will have be expected to have finished their essay by Friday.

Grading will begin on Friday afternoon.

Summer Essay Assignment

Last night for homework, student were to complete the "boxing out" chart for their summer essay assignment. If you did not finish that, you must complete that tonight.

Today we spent time in the computer lab and will be there both tomorrow and Thursday as well. In the computer lab you should have started a new Google Doc for your essay and have shared it with us.
***If you did not finish with the introduction and first body paragraph, you should work on that tonight. You can access this document by going to the Bell-Merr Homepage, click student email, sign in (same username and password that you use to log into the computers at school), click documents at the top of the page, then click on the document that you began in class and work on it.
